2 - Christmas Card2

I had lunch with a president of a large corporation today.

On the way back to my office, I was pondering how I could tweak some of the business ideas we discussed during lunch.

I joined my assistant, Tomoe, back in the office to assemble our home-made Christmas cards.

It's fun to see those same-sized objects next to each other.

I am not crazy about simply signing the Christmas card sold in stores, and
send them out to the people who took a good care of us. It is kind of dry to me.
I kept writing one message to each recipient for one and half hours while thinking about each one of them.

When my right arm started hurting and almost got through all the cards, Tomoe screamed!

"Mr. Uchida! Your Japanese Kanji is wrong (your spelling is wrong!)on almost all cards!."

"W.....wh...what.....? You got to be kidding!!!?? "

It's been 17 years since I moved to the United States from Japan... I used to write a lot of letters to my friends in Japan before 1995, but now there is almost no chance for me to write Japanese sentences by hand because I write everything on my computer... with a spel check function.

I can not confess the character I screwed up here...It was a shameful moment...

We had to start from printing the cards again....about 30 of them...

I needed to nurse my soul for this accident, then I remembered a calender the president of the company gave me after lunch.

It is titled "A World of Beauty"! I can meet 12 different beautiful ladies in a year, and their photos were taken at 12 different beautiful places in the world. They made me relaxed after the hustle I just went through.

I said, "these girls could make me smile even during the harsh working hours."

Then Tomoe said, "Please pin them up on the wall so that we will not have to deal with your temper!"

I disassembled the calender...I am sorry, but

They are working very hard on the wall of my office and contributing to our company a lot.
