Bowling - ボーリング

週末に、家から車で１５分程のショッピングモールの中にあるボーリング場へ遊びに行った。ここは前に覗いた事があり、ちょっと面白い雰囲気なのを知っていたので、一度遊びに来てみたかった場所。

In the last weekend, I have visited a bowling lane with my family. I have known this place for a while, but never played here before.

青い光で照らされ、ピンは蛍光色に光っている。ちょっとラスベガスの匂いがする。

The entire bowling lanes are lit by blue light, and the bowling pins are painted in neon colors.

I sensed Las Vegas.

後ろにはオープンバー＆レストラン。お酒を飲み、食事をしながらのんびりとプレーできる。

A bar and restaurant is located on the other side of the lanes. You can order food and drinks, and enjoy while you are playing games.

カーペットはＳＯＭのグラフィックデザイン部があるカーペット・マニュファクチャーの為にデザインした物が使われていた。

SOM's graphic design department designed this carpet for a carpet manufacturer a while ago.

ちょっと見えにくいが、サーバーの女性たちは皆、とても短いミニスカートで、一見ここは大人向けの場所かとも思われる程。しかし、場内は子供と親で溢れ返っていた。

Waitresses here wore very short skirts, and it could be even considered that the visitors have to be at least over 18 years old. In spite of the atmosphere, it was filled with children and their parents.

ボーリングレーンの近くにあったアーケード・ゲームエリアに、ジェットコースターがあった。

目の前の画面に合わせて椅子が傾き、結構、臨場感があった。

I tried a virtual roller coaster. The seat's movement corresponds to the video on the large screen in front. It felt pretty real, and was enjoyable.
